Old friends are good? I guess so. Old friends had accompany us for a very long times maybe from kindergarten -> primary school -> high school -> university -> work life -> death do us apart. Old friends had encounter a lot with us when we're nothing to somebody. When we got problems they will be there for us besides our family. When we're happy they will shared the joy with us. When we are sad they will cried with us and passed tissues to us too. I think almost every moment they will be there in our life.
How can a new friends that we just know for few years to compare with our old friends? Or else they are our soul mate. They didn't encounter every moment in our life and they don't know us. They don't know our passed and they only knew the current "us" who has grew from life's task. I didn't mean that new friends are not good. Just they are not our soul mate or the one who actually understands us or the one we have known for years. But of course, I'm still welcoming new friends to walk into my life.
I just watched Toy Story 3 and suddenly I have the urge to blog about this. Though they were only toys. The filmmakers are trying to portray humankind not only loyalty and cherish. It's is also friendship. Like Woody he will try to do everything to get everyone else to escape from "Sunnyside". While they facing the most critical moment they still holds each other hands. Even they facing death also want to be together. (Oh.. I almost cried at this part) Next, when Andy's giving away all his toys to Bonnie? Donnie? He is telling and introducing all his toys to her. ( Oh no, can't tahan anymore I cried at this part.) Every toys in his eyes are perfect and precious. He is leaving for his college and have to give away his childhood friends but he make sure that he gave to someone who is sincerely wants them and take good care of them.
Parting is unbearable and sad. But as people says "Every meeting must come to the end". This is part of our life. So I don't want lose any of my friends that who ever came into my life and gave me a memorable and happy moment. I hope all my friends are doing good in all over the world. Stay healthy and I hope that we will still keep in touch until our hairs turned grey and we all are toothless. Just happily talking about our naughty but cute grandchildren.
